Weddings, vacations, sickness & other fun things

Gus was asked to be a groomsman in a wedding that took place in Northern California. Our bible study had given us some money to get away, so we took that wonderful gift and turned our trip up north into a family vacation. We were gone for a whole week-Friday to Friday! First we spent a few nights in Walnut Creek for the wedding, then we traveled down to San Fransisco to see the city and visit some of our dear friends who live down there, and then we spent a few nights in Monterey, going to the aquarium and seeing that absolutely beautiful city. We had a ton of fun and as you can imagine, took a ton of pictures-almost 1, 000. (Don't worry I won't post all of them.) When we arrived home, Gus & I came down with a terrible terrible cold-at the same exact time so poor little Cael has had to fend for himself these past few days. But we're both finally feeling better and getting unpacked, laundry done, and all those other fun things you do after returning from vacation. As you can imagine, I'll be posting pictures from our trip over the next few days (or weeks-just kidding!) Here are some pictures I took from the wedding of Emily and Patrick. She was a beautiful bride and it was a beautiful wedding!!

Emily sang a song, which was a surprise, to Patchy at the reception. This shot shows Emily singing and Patrick is in the bottom, left side of the screen, watching. It was a lovely song!
