Today we left San Fransisco and the beloved McGills to travel to Napa Valley. My old and dear friend Marietjie saw from my FB status updates that we were in San Fransisco and invited us to have breakfast with them in Napa. It was so fun! Her husband is a principal and assistant pastor at their church and school in Napa so we had an encouraging time talking about Spain and all the lessons they've learned being in ministry. It was such a great conversation! They also have a beautiful house and their girls played so well with Cael.
Cael enjoyed eating up in their playhouse

Here we all are

All the kids-even Coen managed to sneak into the picture. Though he was crying pretty hard, which is why Cael was looking at him instead of the camera.

We met my Grandfather's sister-in-law (great aunt?) at Fat City in Old Town Sacramento. I forgot how absolutely cute and quaint that city is!
Coen enjoyed the stroller and his toys, which he cannot keep out of his mouth lately

Then we had dinner with John and Maria Szabo who also live in Sacramento. Gus has known John for over 15 years and they are such dear, sweet people. We really enjoyed dinner at their house and the blessed conversation. Cael enjoyed playing with their girls. (It's funny because so far Cael has played with all girls-no boys yet)

Tomorrow we leave California for a few weeks. Kind of weird! My goal is to take pictures of every single state sign we drive through so hopefully we can do that for the first time tomorrow! Please continue to pray for us and to have travel mercies.

We prayed and we will pray, the Lord is with you.
ReplyDeleteMelissa, thank you for posting, I love follow your trip.
I love "following" you on your trip. Road trips are great, especially since you all have such an important reason to be on one!
