Gnocchi

We were privileged to host Gus' parents, Ruben and Ester, for two weeks. We had SUCH a fun time with them and lots of these next posts will be about their time with us here...

Ester is an amazing cook. She can make pasta like no one else!! One of the ways she spoiled us is that she cooked some of our favorite foods. Including her very famous and amazing homemade gnocchi. It took her several hours and everyone pitched in to help...

Even Ruben put on an apron to join in the fun! And of course Coen had to pull up his chair to help!!

Aaaand just as a disclaimer...I took more of the documenter/photographer role than actually doing any of the work :) Mom made an amazing red sauce that we ate the gnocchi's with.

It was literally one of the best meals of my life.
