The Bodega

One of the places my mom said she wanted to visit was the Bodega, which is a restaurante in an old, underground wine cellar. It's a really cool place and we didn't mind taking her at all!!

Our first stop was to visit the city of Valencia de Don Juan, since it's just a few minutes from the restaurante. Unfortunately it was dark by the time we got there. But the castle looks really cool in the dark, all lit up!

Haha this picture makes me laugh. Neither boy was too keen on sitting still for a picture. They're still cute though! And I think Nana has an extra big smile to compensate for the tears :)

Then we were off to the restaurant. Here we are in front...

Everyone was much happier sitting inside a nice and warm restaurant eating very yummy food!

The food is so yummy...first off is a meat and cheese platter

Then tortilla with a tomato sauce

And finally a few pounds of ox meat. YUM!

It was such a treat to cook and eat this steak. It really is some of the best meat I've ever eaten. And my mom ate and enjoyed it too!!
