One of Cael's favorite activities lately is to build a fort or "Ford" as he calls it, with blankets and chairs in the living room. The other night we built one and camped out underneath with pillows to have story time. OH and we gave him a flashlight. MUCH to his delight...
Last time we built a "ford" with Cael, we put one of our little lamps inside and every pillow and blanket in the house it seemed! He absolutely loved it. The 'ford' is becoming the highlight at Nana's house too! And the whole family has to come inside - "Come On! Come On!" his little voice chimes in until everyone: Nana, Papa, Keke (Aunt Katie), Aunt Emily - and of course both dogs "Come on Gretel!" Makes for a crowded fort - but the more the merrier!
