Day 20

Our first night in Nebraska was at the Harris' house. Our deardeardear friends Spencer and Julie Harris' parents (Spencer's parents.) Their grandson, Fabian, was also staying with him and he is a few weeks younger than Cael. They had so much fun playing together...

Coen continued to enjoy his bumbo!

Mr Harris made us AMAZING blueberry pancakes. Ranks up there with some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Soooo yummy!!

Cael had so much fun with Fabian, Mrs. Harris, and their dog outside!

Mr & Mrs Harris-thanks guys for an amazing night at your house!!

One last Fabian and Cael picture. No small feat to get them both looking at the camera without fingers in their mouth, at the same time!

Three blocks away live Shannon and Sean O'Neal, whom we had the privilege of spending the day with. Their two girls are so cute and we really enjoyed our time with them in their adorable house.

Cael really enjoyed playing with the girls' dolls. He took care of the doll just like he watches me take care of Coen. Putting him to sleep, taking off his shoes, etc. He walked around with the doll, stroking it and talking to it. I think he needs a doll but Gus kind of disagreed with me :)

They took us to Rocket Fizz and it was so awesome. They sell over 150 types of soda, most of them root beer, our favorite type of soda. There was also every type of candy I'd ever seen. What a cool place!! We got some amazing root beer-thanks guys for the treat!!

I love how they decorated the place too. Apparently they just opened up a store in the Valencia Mall!

Gus was very excited to discover this soda, which he bought 2 bottles of and really enjoyed.

The floor

Our sodas. YUM!

Sean took us to his church and gave us a tour. What a nice facility. The most shocking was this sign, right next to the fire plan. Never seen one of these before!

Gus also ran into Peter Barber, whom he went to Seminary with and is now on staff at the church. They enjoyed catching up!

For dinner we went to Sean's parents house. Cael had fun playing with Piper, Sean & Shannon's oldest daughter, outside. We had a really great dinner and enjoyed our time with all the O'Neal's!

After dinner we drove to Omaha, where we will stay for the next 4 nights with our friends Spencer & Julie! I caught this sunset from the car window. I love sunsets and have been enjoying the ones we've seen so far!
