Today was such a fun day!! It was pretty much the first "free" day we've had since we left, and since we were nearby, we decided to explore Chicago, or Chi-town. What a blast! We ate lunch in this amazing Italian deli. Had Chicago style stuffed pizza for dinner. And saw much of the downtown area. What a beautiful city!! We took so many pics and they will come! We're pretty tired, since we parked and walked everywhere -at least 6 miles! My legs will probably be dead tomorrow. But man was it worth it!!
I am blogging from my phone, since we are leaving the beautiful city of Chicago to drive thru the night to Omaha, Nebraska. We will stay with our beloved friends Spencer and Julie while Gus has a few meetings with various churches. Please pray that our time in Nebraska will be fruitful. And for continued safety, especially while we drive thru the night! Tomorrow my goal is to post today's Chicago pics!!
