Day 24 pt b and day 25

After we did the touristy thing in Seattle, we drove to the city of Monroe to say with our hosts the Holmquists, the parents of our dear friends Jenn & Adam Hildebrand (Jenn's parents) We dropped off the boys and drove back to Seattle. On the way we snapped these beautiful pictures. It is beautiful up there!!

We attended the Master's Seminary regional alumni banquet, in the Northwest. It was such a great evening! About 50 people attended the event and since we were in the area we did too. Gus saw a couple who was in Seminary while Gus worked at the church when he was in college. It had been a super long time since they'd seen each other. There were a few contacts like that which we were able to make and talk about Spain with them.

Here is Bob White opening the evening up...

And then after a yummy dinner, Lisa Martin's dad led worship. It was such a treat!

And then Paul Felix, who is a professor at the Seminary, spoke for about 30 minutes about loving the Word and increasing our desire for it. It was really good and such a blessing to attend.

The next morning we drove around Western Washington and took the ferry to Whidbey island. It was gorgeous!

Waiting in line to get on the ferry...

The view while we were waiting...

And onto the boat! Cael LOVED it!

The boys hanging out inside...

From the boat deck. I kept taking more and more pictures because it was just so beautiful. Breathtaking!

Family pic!

Gus and Coen taking in the scenery :)

Cael enjoyed running around the boat deck!

One more picture. Just so beautiful.

Sitting inside and enjoying the view...

Driving around the island. Such a treat!

Deception pass. So. Beautiful.

We had so much fun in the Pacific Northwest. Western Washington is absolutely beautiful!! We also really enjoyed our stay with the Holmquists. And they really loved our boys. They're not grandparents yet so they doted on our boys! I didn't get a picture with Galen but here is Denise with Coen...

And here is one of their sons with Cael. Cael loved their boys and followed them around everywhere!
