Greetings from Texas! We drove through the night last night from Tennessee to Texas. It went great!! Gus was able to do a lot of the driving, which was a huge blessing; we're so glad his eye is healing!! We passed through Arkansas, after going through a tunnel crossing the Mississippi river....
And into Texas! We drove today to Dallas, which reminded me a lot of LA...
They have skyscrapers and traffic, just like home...
We spent the day at the home of Mark & Katie Scarborough. They are here in Dallas raising support to be missionaries in Lebanon. They have 4 kids and Cael had a lot of fun playing with them!

Then we drove a few minutes to where we'll stay tonight, at the Channels. Gus used to work with Mike back in Santa Clarita but they've now relocated to Dallas for his work.
What a blessing that you guys know so many people across the US! It sure beats staying in hotels. I don't understand the saying on the bottom of the Texas sign. The one we passed by when we drove into Texas said, "Drive friendly the Texas way."
