Day 9

Today we attended Grace Community Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Second hour we attended Chase' Sunday School group...

And Gus answered questions for them. It went well, as always. We're always so blessed to meet and see believers interested in Spain and willing to pray for us! It means so much and makes this trip and everything that we're doing all so worth it!

Then we drove a few hours to Louisville. We love this city and couldn't wait to return!! Our first order of business was to make our pilgrimage to Mark's feed store for dinner. It has some of the best BBQ and is an amazing place!!!

Then we drove around the town. It is exceptionally quaint and cute. We had so much fun exploring!

As we left the town and headed back to our hotel, we noticed the ominous clouds in the sky. We never did see rain but let me tell you that it is cold cold cold over here. Like about dead of winter for LA! In the 50's and 60's. Unfortunately we're probably going to have to buy real jackets soon, since our flimsy sweatshirts just don't cut it over here. And it's only going to get colder. Our friend whom we're staying with in Colorado at the end of October told us we might see snow. Snow!! Um I think I'm going to freeze :)

As we drove down this lane, we were reminded that fall is actually a season, and trees actually turn colors. So beautiful!!

Then we returned to the campus of Southern Seminary, where we are staying. I know we took pictures last time we stayed here, but we couldn't help ourselves again since we have a better camera and it's such a gorgeous campus!

Then our friend Jeff Dalrymple, who works at Southern, walked over to give us a tour of the campus. We started right after sunset and were blown away by the sky!

Our first stop was one of their chapels. It is exquisite! I love the white pews and chandeliers.

Another one of their chapels. Isn't it beautiful? Jeff said they use it primarily for weddings. What great colors and lighting. I would have loved to get married here!! Maybe when we have our vow renewal ceremony at our 25th wedding anniversary, we can do it here?
