The 3rd and final day of the MacArthur's visit was a Sunday. We held a special service in a nearby hotel, so we could all fit. It was a very special Sunday!
Here is a gentlemen having John sign a book for him...getting it in before the service started!

Kevin and Henry, ready for the service to start

Kevin wanted to take a family photo of us!

One last picture of the MacArthur's. SO thankful for our time with them, and that we were able to get to know them better!!

And then the service started. First with awesome music, as usual, led by Tan. If you look closely, you can see Gus in the background, playing bass. Yes, he plays bass in the church's worship band.

And some beautiful ladies accompanied!

David welcomed everyone and introduced John, one last time

And Jubilant sang one last time

Then John preached an amazing sermon and gave a very clear Gospel presentation

Which was awesome because there were about 400 people there that morning. 400! This is unheard of numbers for our church; never has there been that many people at one of our church services. People invited their unsaved friends and neighbors! And some stayed over from the conference. I took pics of the room. This is from the front, side...

We were so thankful for such a great turnout! And such a great response to John. Many came up to him for one last photo. I took this below pic because many were taking group shots with him that morning!

A group shot of most of the men (Minus Ruben, who became super super sick that morning; poor guy! Sorry Ruben for infecting you with our diseases!) From left to right, Michael, Luis, Henry, David, Kevin, and Gus

Epic picture here: Luis, Henry, and David. They all used to work together when they attended Grace Community Church's Spanish ministry, while they were in Seminary

And then it was over! The MacArthur's left for the next leg of their trip, to Italy. Where John did another conference there, then Germany, and I believe that he is now in Kiev-preaching over 26 times in a few weeks! And the conference in Spain was over!
Reflecting upon the time, it was such a sweet time for Gus and me. We were so thankful to open our home and host the men. The times of fellowship with the people from Grace was so sweet. Getting to know the MacArthur's more personally was a huge blessing. Hearing John speak in Spain and have the impact that he did was amazing. We've had several emails from pastors and elders who attended the conference...they have all been so thankful for John's messages. We pray now for fruit and lasting impact.
What a positive response to his teaching. Praise God!!!
