Randomness

So this is just going to be a random collection of photos from what we've been doing and who we've been seeing, over these past few days...in no particular order...

Dinner with Jill and Kevin Edwards is always a treat. Especially when we eat super yummy Rattlers!! Seriously, though, we enjoyed a great evening of fellowship. It's always encouraging to talk with other missionaries. 

A trip to the Valencia mall. Wow, has that place changed and grown! It's got so many more stores and I love the outdoor space with the Koi pond; the boys especially enjoyed the fish!

My view during an evening run. Always fun to watch the sunset. Not so fun to run in the dark, down Soledad Canyon. I may or may not have imagined noises while I ran! Which may or may not have cut my run short a few minutes as I "fled" for my life. True story. 

Another Sunday at GCC. First hour was in big church and second hour in the Spanish ministry. We enjoyed our time there immensely!

Lunch with our dear friends the Swansons, whom we've known for more than a decade now! Fun to meet baby #3!

That night, we had an open house after night church. It was a blessing to see many old friends and be able to share about our time in Spain. 

Dinner with the Fongs! Can't believe how big baby Lucien has grown. We always enjoy time catching up with them and reminiscing about old times. Our boys really enjoyed playing with Lucien!

We may or may not be consuming ice cream from Coldstone on a almost nightly basis, lately. With the weather so hot, it's been the natural thing to do. It helps that there is a Coldstone everywhere we go! The boys have been enjoying putting things like gummy bears and marshmallows in their ice cream!

Lastly, dinner with Scott and Tiffany. Gus and Scott go back almost twenty years! I've known Scott for more than a decade, as well. It was very fun to spend time with them and meet their son. He's a cutie and we had another great evening talking Spain!

Thanks for reading my random collection of pix. I have a feeling it's going to be how these posts over the next few months will go. It's been a blessing seeing so many people and meeting so many babies!! We are thankful for our time in the States and all that God is doing. Stay tuned for randomness, part 2!
