San Luis Obispo

Shortly after our weekend away, we left for a road trip and our first stop was to visit my sister, Emily, and her fiancé, Ryan, who live in the beautiful town of San Luis Obispo. We stayed there one night and all had a total blast! The boys especially enjoyed some quality time with Uncle Ryan, or, as Coen sometimes called him, Uncle Brian. 

We spent an afternoon at the beach and it was so, SO beautiful. I absolutely adore the Central Californian coastline. It's rugged beauty always refreshes my soul and reminds me of what a great God we serve, who created such awesomeness. 

We had a campfire in their backyard and introduced the boys to s'mores. Roasting and not bbqing marshmallows is an art!! The boys really enjoyed the process, even if there was some charring that took place!

We really enjoyed our time with Ryan and Emily, and are all excited for their wedding in just a few weeks! Thanks, guys, for your kindness to our family; we love you!!
