Southern Plantation

On Saturday, as we spent some time touring Nashvilleand I asked if there were any plantations nearby. They took us to one right outside of the city and it was so cool! My favorite historical era is around the Civil War and so to see an actual plantation was awesome. 

Here's a cabin, inside and out, of the man who was in charge of the equine animals on the plantation.

I'm so glad we took a moment to step back in time! I appreciate it so much and am thankful for the rich American history our nation has.
